Handsome Garden is an ambitious farming project in a beautiful village north of Kyoto.

Recently in Japan, the youth have moved from the countryside to the great urban sprawls of Kyoto City, Osaka and Tokyo. As a result, those living in the countryside has aged, and can no longer tend to the fields. This is is a great problem, not only to small villages in danger of extinction, but the enconomy of the country as it's forced to buy more from overseas.

Handsome Garden is a joint venture between several companies to bring new intrest to this important sector. Brining in families from the city for a good old honest days work on the farm, where parents can work with their children to help something grow. The annual year long project allows people to feel the joy of helping a farm be successful.
