Welcome to Japan, now that your here what will you do? Go to a few temples, check out some festivals and museums, sample the local delicacies and shop for the latest fashions?

Then return home with nothing to show for you trip apart from a souvenir plate, a T-shirt with "I [heart] Japan" written on it, 10 albums worth of photographs to bore your relatives with and several anecdotes about your hotel rep "Tim," who was really funny, but you can't remember anything that he said.

What if you could immerse yourself in the culture and history of Japan, and don the robes of one of its most famous icons - The Samurai.

Whether your here just on holiday, business, or your staying in Japan long-term, 2sb Media, Hotwire and Toho Entertainment School are now offering a unique new experience. You too can live the world of the Samurai.

The Samurai Tour - Osaka offers guests a lesson in "Chambara" (sword fighting for stage and screen), after which you can take part in a battle recreation that will be filmed, edited and published online for you to watch* or download** to keep as a unique souvenir of your trip to Japan. For a preview video click on the link on the right.

Those with a bit more time can enroll in the Chambara Course, which consists of 10 lessons over 2 months, where you'll be able to get a more in depth feel of Japan's culture and history. Students can opt for one-off lessons or the entire course. The next course starts July 17th 2009 (friday).

All tuition is provided by professional Chambara masters from Toho Entertainment School, in English and Japanese, providing an excellent way to make new friends. Both programs are open to Foreign guests and Japanese nationals.
